Last Friday my husband and I bought a new lawnmower. We wanted to have a hand mower, but we soon discovered that behind mowers are a dying breed. The stores, which we visited, had a wide range of electric lawn mowers. However, hand mowers were scarce, here and there stood a few. Eventually my husband and I only broke down and we have an electric lawnmower purchased.
Saturday I read an article in the Times about the car-dependent society. According to researcher Hans Jeekel we are quite inconvenienced without a car. Without a car we would all things, which we now do in a day, do not get done. As an example he mentions Vinex districts. These districts are designed so that you can get. Sometimes I think sometimes that such inventions have less priority because domestic work is often done by women. More likely is that it involves such complex operations, it is very difficult for them to develop a device. nursery
