here is some of yesterday's work for this project Quick color wash on the line up- I will try a taller Alexander version this week to make up for last weeks version, so hold on to your knives my dear Russian friends. Cool designs, and Form Filing really looks good. Personally I like having more Vadmani design exaggeration, but I rest it should be more produce realistic style. Anyway looks really good. Especially liked the girl on the left. The design of the sled looks really good, only one thing that maybe this will break the silhouette of the roof a little (maybe put something on the roof?). thanks! yes, the sled is a modified tom baker boat, in relation to a story moment, but perhaps I should include a horse + sled image to try and see if it really works I will see what I can do with the roof top. I really want to hear what you guys think, especially those of you who grew up in Russia or even just know the story better than I am, since this is a WIP I might be able to make the changes as I go. Wow! Painting amazing characters, really like the background on which they are displayed. In general, very professional presentation and gives a lot of volume of work. Agree with Polina about Hslad, there is something a little too round. I think something in their clothes out of position and therefore not being precise about the "Russian" :) write their Google russian folklore and you will see OFKNITTED of Russians tom baker have lots of decorations. The guy's boots can be left with a rounded edge Spitz. Russian folk girls usually have a handkerchief tom baker or a kind of round cap on the head. In short, take half an hour and will investigate your clothes and you will see that it will lock the characters besides, amazing !!! Reply Delete
Russian in my opinion, the main character looks really good but I think Tsar very dork which is not very typical Russian tsars characters (but I do not know the story). Villain does not seem to really Russian, or even dislike would help - it's a prominent feature in Russian. I want my friends tom baker sideways about the girl's outfit, really, some traditional decorations would add interest.
